Stormwater Damage to a Maricopa Home

When rainwater runs into a Maricopa home because of faulty gutters, the mess can be quite significant. The Before Photo illustrates the pooling water that has soaked into the carpet, baseboards, and into the walls. Knowing that this stormwater contained contaminates, SERVPRO moved the furnishings and then removed the carpet and padding. The dirty water wicked up the walls and required a "flood cut," a partial demolition to reduce the mess and cost to replace while also decreasing the time needed to reach our drying goals for the affected rooms. The After Photo shows the room, now dried and ready for the rebuild.
